Hello!

I’m a researcher and project manager at the Research Impact Observatory at Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC). My latest research and practice focus on research cultures, community engagement, the societal impact of research, research impact assessment, participatory research, ethics, and integrity.

I hold a PhD in Communication from Universitat Pompeu Fabra – Barcelona, Spain (2021), an MA in International Studies on Media, Power and Difference from the same university (2017), and a BA in Translation and Interpreting Studies from Bogazici University, Istanbul (2016).

Prior to my current position, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at UPEC under the supervision of the Vice-President for Research. During my PhD, I was a graduate teaching and research assistant in the Department of Communication at UPF and a research affiliate at the Institute of Research for Peace and Dialogue in Kigali, Rwanda.

I’m open to collaborations, projects, and consultancy opportunities related to research cultures, community engagement, societal impact of research, research impact assessment, participatory research, ethics, and integrity. Please contact me here if you are interested.
